Digipeating

A digipeater receives an APRS packet and retransmits it according to its configured rules. This extends RF coverage where a direct path is not possible.

Use paths carefully

Wide-area aliases should be used in line with local recommendations. Unnecessary relays consume shared radio-channel capacity.
